《The First Marriage》

Why do people get married?

Is it because they love each other?
Because they want to have children?
Because of family expectations?

There are so many “reasons”…

But in God’s design, marriage is actually very simple.

It is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman
a commitment to love one another faithfully.
At the same time, it reflects the most intimate relationship
between humanity and God.

From the very beginning, God made His purpose clear:
“Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it.” (Genesis 1:28)

Marriage and parenting are not separate ideas,
they are part of God’s greater plan.

At the core of marriage is this truth:
“The two shall become one.”

Not only physically,
but emotionally and spiritually.

However, after the story of Adam and Eve,
humanity began to drift away.

The enemy’s strategy has always been the same,
to destroy what God values most:
Love.

When love is distorted,
our relationship with God is broken,
and our connection with one another begins to fall apart.

That is why in reality,
marriage often loses its original unity and purpose,
and becomes filled with hurt, expectations, and conflict.

But marriage was never meant to be like this.

Marriage is sacred,
yet it is not an easy journey.

It is a covenant
a place where we learn to love,
learn to become one,
and carry a greater purpose beyond ourselves. ✨

But why is it so hard to sustain a loving relationship?
